Does your child, student, or you struggle with reading, spelling, note-taking, writing, time management, or test preparation? These skills are crucial for class participation and essential in language-based and STEM subjects (science, technology, engineering, and math). Students need these abilities to access materials, annotate, take notes, complete homework, take exams, work on group projects, and communicate in writing throughout their K–12 and college education.
Discover how to use technology and study strategies for immediate help. These tools can enable independent access and engagement with the same learning materials as peers. When correctly matched to the user's needs, technology can reduce frustration and boost success in completing academic tasks.
This information is valuable for beginners and advanced technology users, including parents, teachers, students, and professionals supporting students in home and school settings. With the right tools and strategies, students with diverse learning styles can become active, effective, and successful learners in K–12 and college environments.

Learning differences impact the ways in which students access materials and demonstrate their knowledge. As such, students with learning differences often benefit from the use of assistive technology. When tools and strategies are correctly matched to a student's needs, students with diverse learning styles can become active, effective, and successful learners in K–12 and college environments.
Join us for a review of assistive technology for students with learning differences with Erika Kluge, an assistive technology special educator at T.H.I.N.K. with Success! This virtual workshop is valuable for beginners & advanced technology users, including parents, teachers, advanced high school and college students, and professionals supporting students in home and school settings. The presentation will run for approximately one hour via a live Zoom meeting, followed by 30 minutes of Q&A.
